How Thanos Knew About Tony Stark?

During infinity war we all were shocked when Thanos told stark that you are not the only one cursed with knowledge.So after the event of avengers , stark was not the only one who got anxiety attacks . Those event made even Thanos to think that who destroyed his whole army in the battle of New York.

So after the events of avengers tony understood that there someone who could pose pose a threat to earth which lead him to create Ultron . On the side Thanos started planning that how he will collect the infinity stones and deal with avengers and the others .According to Joe Russo Thanos knew tony from the battle of New York when Tony releases the nuke toward the chitauri army both of them saw a glimpse of each other . The thing which was haunting Thanos that how a human can defeat his whole army . due to this he gained information about tony stak.

Thanos is a futuristic just like tony . we all know that Thanos defeated Tony in the battle of Titan but it will be tie as Tony has also defeated Thanos in the battle of New York . So we have see what Dr. Strange saw about there battle in upcoming Avengers 4.
