Shazam! Trailer Breakdown: The New 52 Origin Story Explained

So guys DC amazed us by giving SHAZAM trailer before Aquaman , So we can say that Worlds Of DC is ready to entertain us. In sandieago comic con , we seen many amazing trailer but the real attention was caught by SHAZAM and Aquaman where Aquaman seem adventurous and SHAZAM seem very funny and why not .A kid becoming superhero is like a dream to us , and DC is going to show this dream in SHAZAM .As seeing the trailer we can say that this movie is going to based on new 52 shazam storyline .So lets break down the trailer.

Before the release of the trailer many fans were saying that the costume of SHAZAM is a bit weird but according to me the costume is perfect because if a boy will get superpower then he will look just like this , thats what happens in the comics when billy batson says SHAZAM then he is struck by lightning and moment later he becomes a muscle man covered in spandex suit.In the starting scene we see a building shining , we don't know why it is shining but we will talk about it later.later we the origin of billy batson who has ran from 6 county foster home because he want to live independently but until he become 18 years old he cannot do it that why he is sent to a new foster home .In the foster home we can see few more kids with billy and one of them is freddy freeman who is very funny boy and maybe billy lives with freddy in the same room where we can see a batarang , a daily planet news paper where things about superman are printed .This shows that freddy is a big fan of super hero but billy is not a fan of superhero. Billy is not willing to stay in this foster home also . In the shot we see that billy and freddy are in school and the whole movie is on the fawcet city as we can see in the school.In School where freddy was bullied by some of the boys and billy may not like is new brothers but he also don't like bullies and thats why he beats them and run away. In starting shot we see billy running away was of this time only where he runs , steals car and goes in a subway and from here his life changes . In the trains all the passengers started vanishing except billy same as in comics .Then he reaches rock of eternity were all wizards of magic council use to live but now the last wizard was only left , Wizard SHAZAM . Here we can also see the mirror. In comics this mirror used to warn billy .

It is not like magic has chosen billy only , any one who does any good deed magic would have sened them to this wizard where he test the worthiness but wizard seen to be in a hurry with billy because most probably this the time when black adam is also released and wizard gives his power to billy and billy gets this power by saying one word "SHAZAM".After getting this power billy runs towards his brother freddy because as we have seen trailer he is only one who knows anything about superheroes (EXCEPT US) . We can see billy in his hood and then freddy touches the lightning on his chest .After this we see power test where we see a backpack kid frost dance and super strength test , flight test and then bullet immunity . Wizard haven't told him much about his power because we know that SHAZAM has power of 6 gods including super speed. Using this power he take revenge from the bullies. So till now Billy haven't got wisdom of solomon as we can see hi playing with his power which that Chinese phone cannot bear.After this we got first look of Dr.sivana who is considered the villain in this movie. Dwyane Jhonson who is going to play lead role as black adam in movie said in a interview that he is not going to be in the movie .Well Dr.sivana is not less capable , he got his power from the lightning of wizard so he can see magic . But Dr.sivana fighting SHAZAM is not getting things right .

After this we see the changing of billy to shazam which looks amazing and then we see SHAZAM in the same which we saw in the SHAZAM first look images where he finds out that he is bullet immune and protects the store from getting robbed and store owner gives them some chips and soda as a sign of thank you .

So this trailer had showed us a different part of DC. Rumors are there that we can see superman also in this film.
